On Friday, I attended what may the last chapel I'm able to attend at Regan's school. It was grandparent's day but I attended anyway because the 1st graders sang a song in front of the whole big group. I wasn't expecting to get all teary-eyed as we prepare to leave this school. It's really a special school - as evidenced by the grandfather of one of the students who was the guest preacher and gave a wonderful sermon based on the below two fantastic Discovery Channel commercials. He had all the kids and grandparents singing the "boom-di-a-da, boom-di-a-da" parts. We'll miss this very special school and how they love on Regan and are helping her develop confidence and passion in whatever she might be interested in.
Here are the 1st graders singing their song but please note: Unless you are a first-grade father 1/2 way around the world (i.e. JAKE!), then there is NO NEED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO. You can't tell who Regan is and can barely understand the words!
