So this year, the neighborhood required no instructions and I told the girls that they could each pick out their own pumpkin. And they promptly looked for the biggest ones they could carry (except for Anna - she picked out two cute, petit ones).
Fall is definitely in the air!
When they asked how big of a pumpkin they could get (we weren't used to seeing such big ones), I told them as long as they could carry it themselves, they could get it. Mere got herself a big 'un!

No time for make-up at the school parade!

Ready for trick or treat!
Jane is the old man from the movie Up and her friend is the little boy scout boy. Cute idea!

Handing out candy. We din't have nearly as many trick or treaters as we thought we would have but we still had a great night (and our girls got *plenty* of candy from the neighbors). Mere is tired!
Tired eyes. Poor thing - it's a school night and time to get this washed off!
