Meredith is 7!

Happy, happy birthday, sweet Meredith.  I can't believe our third one is already seven years old.  So grown up and such a wonderful, wonderful kid.  I'm so glad to be her mom.

We had her birthday party a week early since I was going to be out of town.  She had a pretend sleepover with five of her friends.  They made crafts, played, ate homemade pizza and cupcakes and got into their pajamas and curled up in their sleeping bags for a for a movie and more playing.  She has such a sweet group of friends.  Nary a cross word or hurt feeling all day.

She loved opening her presents with lovely new clothes and books, crafty projects, puzzles and roller blades.  All good stuff and she was so appreciative of it all.

Cute invitations I found (Jake added the (pretend) part and did
a great job with the font!  I did have to order these from
the US but light things don't cost much to ship here

The girls had fun decorating

Decorate-Your-Own-Pillowcase project.  It
honestly didn't work out well at all as that
fabric paint was very difficult to work with.

Jane is happy to help with the piñata

Anna even gave it a whirl

Andrea takes piñata bashing very seriously

Gaia has fun with it

Lila would rather smile at the camera!

I loved how Gaia was *very* careful with her cupcake and
was happy to take her time to make it just right

Dinner time!

Unfortunately Anna is happiest when there is sugar near her mouth!

Jane really loved one of

We're still working on her first 3-D
puzzle of the Grand Mosque - it's
a lot of work but also a lot of fun!
