Getting back into the swing of things

Since many activities don't start up right away, it seems the beginning of the school year isn't too crazy and we can find some time to have fun and enjoy ourselves (and sometimes be a little silly!)

So Regan read somewhere about a yogurt facial treatment and decided
to give her little sisters a facial.  It was cold and ticklish!

Jane's turn.

At the end of the New Family Welcome dinner at school (we were a
Buddy family so part of the "welcome-ers"), a few of the
kids took a run through the sprinkler.  It was HOT so it looked
like it felt good (still in August in Abu Dhabi)

You could adopt a saluki.  Jane really, really, really, really
wanted to take one home!

Meredith getting "interviewed" in a pretend
TV at children's church - this little cardboard
box TV was a big hit when Jake and I were teaching!

The girls designed, populated and staffed a zoo in Jane's room.  This
was a great, creative project!  We had tickets, opening hours,
tour guides, animal experts and more!

that I didn't photograph (camels, cats, mice and more!)

Jane reading to Anna - love it!

Carousel ride - Anna's first without a grown up next to her!

Playing games and Jane hit the jackpot (won 1000
tickets and it took almost 10 minutes for all the tickets
to come out of the machine!).  She got toys for all
her sisters in exchange.
