Another fun day of our Christmas break - a family outing to the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. Meredith and Anna were just along for the ride but the rest of us had a fairly competitive Best Ball competition. Regan and Jake were a team and Jane and I battled them out (we got 2 strokes per hole - 1 for par 3s). We kept it tied for a few holes and then Jane and I took the lead. Jake and Regan slowly inched their way back to a tie and then a 1 stroke lead on the 2nd to last hole. Then Jane had to suffer as I fell apart on the last hole and gave away 3 strokes for a big loss. We had a great time and Jake and I enjoyed getting to try out our new golf clubs - we both give them a thumbs-up.
