A little fun now that school is out

We have stayed quite busy since school released - trips to splash park, the beach, to the pool, to an art class and play dates and sleepovers.  Sadly I managed to not get a single photo at the new Saadiyat public beach (the beach was far from the chairs and we were having too much fun to get the cameras).  But the water was  sparkly blue and the waves were just right for jumping in - Regan and Jane had a blast jumping in the waves.  We had such a great time (even if Anna only wanted to go in up to her ankles).

Other adventure photos below.

The spinning second graders (Jane is in the blue on the left)

Anna mainly likes to stay dry

Yu kyung and Regan relaxing on the lazy river

Jane and Brenli barely slowed down enough to say, "Cheese!"

Driving the boats

Water soccer

This is a game where you try to pump the water
to fill someone's bucket.  Jane just lost - note
the water that is only an inch away from inundating her!

Jane got them back - now it is Yu kyung and
Regan's turn to get wet

This time Regan managed to jump right and get
out of the way of the water.

This is a water balloon sling shot.  I didn't know that
there was a target button on top.  My opponent
hit the target button and a HUGE bucket of
water splashed on me.  Very unexpected!

I think this is Mere's first time on the trampoline
bouncey thing

She did great!

Now off to the beach club pool another day

Anna enjoys the cool water, too.

Making Mondrian art at a great art class at the
Saadiyat al Manarat

With their Mondrian masterpieces.  They also did more art on
secondary colors, tertiary colors, warm and cool colors
and complementary colors.  Dinner out afterwards and we're
still able to eat outside these days (still a nice unseasonably
cool spring and summer here)
