The siren call of new nephew Baby Silas finally got us to venture across the big pond for our first US Christmas since we moved to the UAE. And we're so thankful he did - what a great couple of weeks! First stop was Arkansas where the number one priority was to meet and cuddle the star of the show - new cousin Silas (3 1/2 months old). He's a serious little guy who lets any of us hold him and he'll even take naps in our laps. Just delicious!
We explored downtown Little Rock, went to the Nutcracker ballet, ate a lot of yummy food, hung out with our great family as well as Vanessa's wonderful family (hi Bibbles!) and got to experience some cold weather (brrr). Tim & Vanesssa were the hosts/ hostess with the mostest gamely letting us take over their house, eat lots, do puzzles, hang out and enjoy their newest arrival's first Christmas.
