Now that Regan is in middle school, an exciting part of the middle school experience here is that annual Week Without Walls where they take the education program abroad for a week. This year the 6th graders go to Greece to study ancient civilizations, the 7th graders to go Cappadocia, Turkey to study different societies and the 8th graders go to Thailand for a service-oriented trip.
So after much preparation and excitement, off Regan went on Thursday for a full week of learning and adventure with her class and teachers (and parent chaperones) to explore several areas of Greece. She was probably 85% excited and 15% nervous which was probably a good ratio. She is able to call us once or twice a day (otherwise the chaperones keep all the phones) so we've heard from her to hear that she is doing great and having a good time.
Once she gets back, we'll plan on her doing a guest blog here all about her trip.
