Summer travel to Arkansas

We stayed busy the rest of the summer, too.

Firecracker Fast 5K in Little Rock followed by the Never-on-Time-Heights neighborhood parade

Silas is all decked out in his 4th of July festive attire and has a sweet wagon ride

Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Jack hugs

A lunch worth a drive for the pies at Charlotte's Eats and Sweets in Keo, Arkansas.  Doors open at 11 am and you better believe there is a line.

Hiking around the Toltec Mounds (old native American mounds/ ruins)

One of the mounds behind Regan

Swim time in Little Rock at Bibble's place

Petit Jean Mountain - exploring the art exhibit up there

Lake Abby and the floating art in the back

Cuddling with Jack at Gammy & Poppy's on Petit Jean

Birds made a nest and had babies in the tree

Time to celebrate all the summer birthdays in the McKuin clan

Learning some good skills from Poppy!  Meredith was a natural.

I learned that shooting a gun is NOT like riding a bicycle.  You *can* forget how and lose any skills you used to have...

Mere shot quite a few holes in the cans.  The rest of us - not as good!

Hard to get tired of this view!

Camp pick-up.  So nice to get reunited with my girls after two weeks at camp!

All together again
